A long way...
I figured today, I would give myself a little pat on the back. I think I have come a long way since I started my etsy store. I didn't have the slightest clue on how to work an etsy shop. I had no idea that you needed to have decent pictures and I didn't know how to write a practical description. I basically sucked as a shop owner.
Now I think I take pretty good photos. My descriptions are good. And I am pretty sure my products have even gotten better.

Welcome!
Hello! You are looking at this blog, most likely because you are interested in my etsy store, and the person who is behind it all. I can guarantee you that I am not all that interesting. My name is Allison. I live in Fort Myers florida. I own a house and I have a dog and a cat. I can assure you that I have been to hell and I am now on my way back.
I started decorating wallets in December of 2009, just to pass time. It then moved to making wallets for my friends and family as Christmas gifts. I enjoyed making everything so much, I decided not to stop. I opened my shop on etsy, officially, in March of this year. Sales didn't pick up until June. I love what I do. I didn't exactly "quit my day job", but technically, this is my job.
I feel like I will always be a student. I am starting school again in January after taking a year off. I am a psychology major and I should be finishing within the next year. One day, when I grow up, I hope to be a doctor with my PhD in psychology. I am not too sure if I want to be a therapist and focus on clinical psychology or if I want to be more research based.
I have another blog, which I write on regularly. It's dark. It's raw. It's about my life. If you want to read it you can click here. This blog is just for my etsy store and everything related to it.
